Egypt’s embassies and consulates in 21 countries: Spain, Italy, Austria, Denmark, the Netherlands, Belgium, Malta, Czechia, Slovakia, Poland, Hungary, Burundi, the Canary Islands, Botswana, Lesotho, Namibia, South Africa, France, Romania, Sudan, and Libya, opened their doors to Egyptian voters, to cast their votes in the 2025 House of Representatives elections, on the first day of voting. The voting process for Egyptians residing abroad in the first phase of the 2025 House of Representatives elections will take place on Friday and Saturday inside 139 Egyptian embassies and consulates in 117 countries.
It is noteworthy that the House of Representatives elections are being held in two stages, in which 2,598 candidates compete in the individual system, and 4 lists in the closed list system, and voting in the first round of the first phase will take place on November 7 and 8 abroad, and at home on two days. November 10 and 11, with the official result being announced on November 18. The replay will be held abroad on December 1 and 2, and at home on December 3 and 4, and the replay result will be announced on December 11.
