Muhammad Al-Sharqi witnesses the signing of a cooperation agreement between "House of Arabic Poetry" and"Sultan bin Ali Al Owais Cultural Foundation"
Fujairah, 7 November / WAM / His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, witnessed, in his office at the Emiri Diwan, the signing of a cooperation agreement between the House of Arabic Poetry in Fujairah and the Sultan Bin Ali Al Owais Cultural Foundation.
The agreement was signed by Salima Al Mazrouei, Director of the House of Arabic Poetry in Fujairah, and Ibrahim Al Hashimi, Executive Director of the Sultan Bin Ali Al Owais Cultural Foundation.
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sharqi stressed the importance of sustainable partnerships between cultural institutions inside and outside the country, and their role in promoting cultural creativity and its projects that support the enrichment of the literary scene locally, Arably and internationally.
His Highness pointed out the commitment of the Fujairah government, under the vision and directives of His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Fujairah, to develop cultural initiatives and effective cooperation in a way that advances the culture sector in the country and contributes to consolidating its position in this vital field at all levels.
The agreement aims to enhance the prospects for joint cultural cooperation between the House of Arabic Poetry in Fujairah and the Sultan Bin Ali Al Owais Cultural Foundation in the cultural fields in general, and Arabic poetry in particular, and to open new and creative horizons between the two parties.
It also aims to exchange experiences and knowledge in agreed-upon areas of cooperation and issues of culture, literature and creative industries, in a way that advances the culture sector in general and serves the state’s directions in this field.
The signing was attended by His Excellency Dr. Ahmed Hamdan Al Zeyoudi, Director of the Office of His Highness the Crown Prince of Fujairah, and His Excellency Dr. Sulaiman Al Jassim, Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Sultan Bin Ali Al Owais Cultural Foundation.
