Graduation of the 16th batch of "Professional Certificate Program in Document and Archive Management"

ABU DHABI, 7 November / WAM / The Archives, the National Library and Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi celebrated the graduation of the sixteenth batch of participants in the Professional Certificate Program in Document and Archive Management.
The batch included an elite group of professionals working in various archival sectors, who completed the requirements of the program concerned with qualifying national cadres specialized in the field of document management and archive preservation.
Dr. Hamad Al-Mutairi, Acting Executive Director of the National Archives and Library, said that the graduation of each new batch of the program reflects its established position as an academic and professional platform that contributes to developing archival practices and enhancing national competencies qualified to build a knowledge economy based on documentation and information management, congratulating the graduates on their achievement.
For her part, Professor Nathalie Marcial-Braz, Director of Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi, congratulated the graduates, appreciating the efforts they made to achieve this achievement, and praised the role of faculty members in providing a high level of education that contributes to the development of specialized national cadres.
The ceremony – which was held at the headquarters of the Archives and the National Library – concluded with the distribution of certificates to the graduates, in the presence of representatives of both sides and a number of officials and those interested in the fields of archiving and document management.
