Egyptians begin voting in France in the House of Representatives elections

The process of voting for Egyptian citizens in France for the first phase of the 2025 House of Representatives elections began today, Friday, which will last for two days for Egyptians abroad, in accordance with the relevant decisions of the National Elections Authority.
The Embassy of the Arab Republic of Egypt in Paris opened its doors, this Friday morning at nine o’clock Paris time, to receive voters from the Egyptian community in France, to vote for the first phase of the House of Representatives elections, but it will be closed. The polls are at nine in the evening.
The diplomatic mission in France has taken all logistical and organizational measures to ensure the smooth conduct of the voting process, provide the greatest amount of comfort for voters coming from various French cities, and provide everything possible to conduct this electoral process with ease.
The Egyptian Embassy in Paris published a statement – through its accounts on social networking sites – calling on voters to participate in the House of Representatives elections abroad, which are being held at the embassy headquarters. In Paris from nine in the morning until nine in the evening on November 7 and 8.
The embassy indicated in its statement that the first phase of the House of Representatives elections will be held in the districts of 14 governorates, “Giza, Fayoum, Beni Suef, Minya, Assiut, New Valley, Sohag, Qena, Luxor, Aswan, Red Sea, Alexandria, Beheira, Matrouh.” Outside the Arab Republic of Egypt on Friday and Saturday, corresponding to November 7 and 8, provided that the runoff will be held on December 1 and 2, 2025, in cases that require a repeat.
The embassy confirmed that the committee’s opening time will be from nine in the morning until nine in the evening during the days referred to, noting that honorable citizens can inquire about their electoral position through the following link: Egyptian embassies and consulates abroad have completed all their preparations to receive voters from the country abroad to cast their votes in the first phase of the House of Representatives elections, today, Friday, over a period of two days, in accordance with the relevant decisions of the National Elections Authority.
The embassies and consulates announced the headquarters of the sub-electoral committees, which are located at the headquarters of diplomatic missions, and called on members of the Egyptian communities to perform their national duty by participating in the vote, while recalling the necessity of carrying an automated passport. Or the national ID card so that the Sub-Elections Committee can ensure that the voter is completely registered in the database and thus his eligibility to vote.
