A codeshare partnership between Etihad Airways and Hong Kong Airlines

Abu Dhabi, 7 November / WAM / Etihad Airways strengthened its partnership with Hong Kong Airlines by launching a codeshare agreement and signing a reciprocal agreement for the loyalty program during a ceremony held in Hong Kong, coinciding with the arrival of the inaugural Etihad flight from Abu Dhabi to Hong Kong International Airport.
Hong Kong Airlines flights between Hong Kong and Abu Dhabi are now available for booking as Etihad Airways flights with the code EY, while passengers can travel on Etihad Airways to popular Japanese destinations including Fukuoka, Hokkaido-Sapporo, Osaka, and Okinawa on flights operated by Hong Kong Airlines under the code “HX”, which means booking one ticket for the entire trip, and processing travel transactions once, without the need to transfer luggage, making Abu Dhabi the easy bridge. Which connects Greater China and Japan to the Middle East, Europe and Africa.
With regard to the mutual loyalty program, under the agreement, members of the Hong Kong Airlines “Fortune Wings Club” program and members of the “Etihad Guest” program will be able to enjoy the benefits of earning and mutual redemption of points across the entire networks of the two companies.
