Fares Al-Sharqawi bid farewell to the boxing competitions at the Islamic Solidarity Tournament

Fares Al-Sharqawi, the national boxing team player, bid farewell to the competitions of the Islamic Solidarity Games, which are currently being held in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and will continue until November 21.

Fares Al-Sharqawi lost to the Turkish champion in the quarter-finals of the 80 kg competition, leaving the competition early.

Egypt is participating with a symbolic delegation during the competitions of the Islamic Solidarity Games, which are held in Riyadh, from November 7 to 21, on November 12. One game out of 23 games included in the competition schedule.

Egypt competes, during the Islamic Solidarity Tournament in Riyadh, in swimming, athletics, basketball 3×3, boxing, camel, equestrian, judo, table tennis, taekwondo, weightlifting, wrestling, Paralympic Games (athletics – weightlifting).
