Ajman Chamber participates in "AIM Investment Summit – China" In Shanghai

Ajman, 8 November / WAM / The Ajman Chamber is participating in the “AIM Investment Summit – China” in the city of Shanghai, under the slogan “Exploring the engines of interconnected globalization: from launch to prosperity”, within the official state delegation with the participation of the Ministry of Foreign Trade, with the aim of enhancing economic and trade cooperation between the participating countries and discussing economic developments and the impact of innovation, modern technologies and artificial intelligence on industry and investment development.

The chamber delegation, which was headed by His Excellency Marwan Al Shaali, Member of the Board of Directors of the Ajman Chamber, included Mohammed Ali Al Janahi, Executive Director of the Member Support Services Sector at the Ajman Chamber. Government officials, business leaders, investors and experts in the investment, trade, industry, finance and innovation sectors participated in the summit.

The summit, which will be held over two days, will witness the holding of 15 high-level sessions, with the participation of more than 85 speakers and more than 1,000 participants.

His Excellency Marwan Al-Shaali stressed that organizing the summit in Shanghai reflects its importance as a global tool for developing the economy, trade and mutual investments between the UAE, China, the UAE and the countries of the world.

He said that the Ajman Chamber’s participation in this global event reflects its efforts to promote the investment opportunities available in the Emirate of Ajman, expand into global markets, open new horizons for partnership and cooperation, exchange experiences and best practices, and keep pace with global economic and investment trends, in support of achieving the goals of Ajman Vision 2030.

He praised the depth of the Emirati-Chinese strategic relations and partnership, which was reflected in the steady growth of trade and the flow of investments between the two countries.

His Excellency Marwan Al Shaali pointed out that the Ajman Chamber delegation was keen to hold a series of bilateral meetings with the delegations participating in the summit, as part of the Chamber’s efforts to expand its international partnerships and discuss opportunities for developing intra-regional trade with countries of the world.

During the summit sessions, Mohammed Al Janahi gave a presentation on “Investment opportunities and economic potential in the Emirate of Ajman,” and discussed the economic components of the Emirates, the availability of advanced infrastructure, service and logistics, and the diversity of ports, which are among the most efficient and dynamic in the world, so that the Emirates becomes a sustainable economic bridge that facilitates the flow of trade and investments between the Asian and African continents in particular.

He highlighted the efforts of the Chambers of Commerce and their effective role in creating an attractive and stimulating business environment that supports intercontinental trade, and strengthening the UAE’s position as a partner that contributes to achieving global economic integration, especially in light of the growing strategic relations between China and the UAE, and the UAE and Africa.
