"Palestinian journalists"We call for continued pressure to ensure the stability of Gaza

Deputy Head of the Palestinian Journalists Syndicate and member of the Palestinian National Council, Tahseen Al-Astal, called today, Sunday, for continuing more pressure on the occupation government, to ensure full implementation of the ceasefire in the Gaza Strip.

Al-Astal said, in a special intervention with the Cairo News Channel: “The occupation forces are still practicing acts of violence against civilians in Gaza, including blowing up and destroying citizens’ residential buildings in more than 45% of the sector’s area; Which is a clear violation of the ceasefire agreement.”

He strongly denounced the continued Israeli threats to attack the Palestinian city of Rafah. At the same time, he held the American administration responsible for the current situation in Gaza as a result of not exerting the necessary pressure on the occupation government in order to commit to stopping its aggression against the Gaza Strip.

The deputy head of the Palestinian Journalists Syndicate accused the Israeli occupation of disavowing the pledges and obligations of the Gaza Agreement. Pointing out that Israel did not take any concrete steps on the ground to move forward with the implementation of the second phase, which was scheduled to be implemented on the fourth day of the signing of this agreement. Al-Astal called on all parties to preserve Trump’s peace plan in Gaza. At the same time, he appealed to the entire world and its organizations to provide the necessary equipment to retrieve the bodies of the martyrs from under the rubble and ruins of destroyed homes.
