المملكة: 4 memorandums of understanding… Details of the third meeting of the Saudi-Kuwaiti Coordination Council

After that, His Highness the Minister of Foreign Affairs and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the State of Kuwait chaired the third meeting of the Saudi-Kuwaiti Coordination Council, which aims to strengthen relations between the two brotherly countries, and comes as a continuation of the fruitful results of the meetings of the committees emanating from the Council during their work throughout the year 2025.

Depth of brotherly relations

At the beginning of During the meeting, His Highness the Minister of Foreign Affairs expressed his welcome for the meeting being held in the capital, Riyadh, and his appreciation for the efforts made by both sides to make the work of this meeting a success, which embodies the depth of fraternal relations and the close ties that bring together the two brotherly countries and peoples.

The Foreign Minister of Kuwait also expressed his appreciation for the generous hospitality and the efforts made by the Council secretariat, and the State of Kuwait’s aspiration to host the fourth meeting of the Council in the future.

At the conclusion of the Council meeting, (4) memorandums were signed. The first was a memorandum of understanding for cooperation in the field of radio and television, signed on the Saudi side by Assistant Minister of Information Abdullah bin Ahmed Al-Maghlouth, and on the Kuwaiti side by Undersecretary of the Ministry of Information, Dr. Nasser Ahmed Muhaisen. The second was a memorandum of understanding in the field of economics and planning, signed on the Kingdom’s side by Undersecretary of the Ministry of Economy and Planning for International Economic Affairs, Engineer Rakan bin Waddah Tarabzouni, while it was signed on the Kuwaiti side by Dr. Nimr Fahd Al-Malik Al-Sabah, Undersecretary of the Kuwaiti Ministry of Oil, and the third was a memorandum of understanding. An understanding in the fields of science, technology and innovation was signed on the part of the Kingdom by the Vice President of the Strategy and Institutional Excellence Sector at King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology, Dr. Ziyad bin Saleh Al-Raimi, and on the Kuwaiti side by Undersecretary of the Ministry of Finance, Aseel Suleiman Al-Munaifi. The Kuwaiti side was Undersecretary of the Ministry of Finance, Aseel Suleiman Al-Munaifi.

The meeting was attended by Assistant Minister of Interior Dr. Hisham Abdul Rahman Al-Falih, Assistant Minister of Information Dr. Abdullah bin Ahmed Al-Maghlouth, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Political Affairs Ambassador Dr. Saud Al-Sati, His Highness Prince Sultan bin Saad bin Khalid, Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to the State of Kuwait, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Energy Dr. Nasser Al-Hamidi Al-Dosari, and Undersecretary of the Ministry of Investment for International Relations Sarah Bint. Abdul Rahman Al-Sayed, and the head of the Council’s General Secretariat work team from the Saudi side, Engineer Fahd bin Saeed Al-Harithi.
