Al-Wasl hosts Al-Nassr Saudi Arabia tomorrow in the quarter-finals of the AFC Champions League 2

Dubai, April 18 / WAM / Al-Wasl team will host its Saudi counterpart, Al-Nassr, tomorrow in the quarter-finals of the AFC Champions League 2, at Zabeel Stadium in Dubai, at 6 pm.
A second match will also be held in Dubai, bringing together Al-Ahly of Qatar with Al-Hussein Irbid of Jordan, at 11 p.m., on the same stadium.
The two matches were scheduled to be held last March, in a home-and-away system, before the Asian Football Confederation announced the holding of the two postponed matches, in addition to the semi-final match for the West region, in Dubai, in a single round and in a group system.
Portuguese Rui Vitoria, coach of the Al-Wasl national team, who previously led Al-Nasr to the Saudi League title in 2019, said: We are playing a strong match against a team that I know well and have worked with, and it is one of the best teams in the region, and it has an elite group of wonderful players.
He added: We are facing a great challenge, but we are able to give our best against all competitors, and we will fight with all force to achieve our goals of reaching the semi-finals.
For his part, Portuguese Jorge Jesus, coach of the Saudi Al-Nasr team, said during the press conference for the match that his team is ready to face Al-Wasl tomorrow, considering that the match represents an important station in the team’s journey.
He added: We are playing a very important match, and we are fully prepared for it, and we do not suffer from any absences. Everyone is in the best technical and physical condition, and we are not suffering from any pressure.
