"Fazza tournaments" Announces the agenda for the 2025-2026 season


Dubai, 12 November / WAM / The Fazza Championships Administration at the Hamdan Bin Mohammed Center for Heritage Revival announced the Fazza Championships agenda for the 2025-2026 season during a press conference attended by representatives of the local and Arab media and heads of the organizing committees, in a step that confirms the readiness of a season that is expected to be the largest in terms of the volume of participation and the diversity of events in popular heritage sports.
The season began with the launch of the Fazza Al-Yawla Championship last Friday, which continues until January 30, 2026, to be the first heritage tournament for this year.
In a related context, the preliminaries for the camel marathons are distributed between the months of November and December, and will be concluded next January, as part of intensive preparations supervised by the relevant committees.
The Fazza Falconry Championship – Talwah will also begin on December 27 and continue until January 12, 2026, followed by the Mohammed bin Rashid Falconry Cup from January 25 to February 16, while next December will witness the conclusion of the Fazza Falconry Championship with the participation of the most prominent falconers in an atmosphere of strong competition.
In the camel field, the Fazza Cup for Ardha and Fazza Sword for Zamat will be held during the period from 9 to 17 January 2026, followed by the Fazza Saktoon Shooting Championship from 7 to 14 February with wide local and international participation, then the Saluki Championship on April 5.
The season concludes with the Fazza Freediving Championship (Al-Hiyari), where the qualifiers will be held at Deep Dive Dubai from April 14 to 17, followed by the finals on the 18 and 19 of the same month.
Rashid Hareb Al-Khasouni, Director of the Fazza Championships Department at the Hamdan Bin Mohammed Center for the Revival of Heritage, confirmed that the launch of the new schedule comes as a continuation of the Center’s approach to organizing professional heritage tournaments that combine the spirit of competition and the preservation of the authentic Emirati heritage, praising the vital role played by the media as a strategic partner in highlighting these sports and supporting their societal message.
