Most regions of the Kingdom witness weather fluctuations and of varying intensity starting on Friday, November 14, 2025 AD and continuing until Monday, November 17, 2025 AD, according to the report issued by .

The Center indicated that the climate condition includes moderate to heavy precipitation in most areas, accompanied by activity in surface winds stirring up dirt and dust, and the possibility of torrential rains, hail, and rising waves on the coasts.

The most affected areas

The Center explained that the Makkah Al-Mukarramah region will be one of the areas most affected by this condition, as rainfall is expected Moderate to heavy on Saturday, November 15 in the governorates of Jeddah, Rabigh, and Khulais, while the precipitation extends to Taif, Maysan, Adham, and Al-Ardiyat and will be moderate to heavy from Saturday until Monday.

While the Holy Capital, Al-Kamil, Al-Jamoum, and Bahrah will be affected by moderate to heavy rain on Saturday. Al-Laith and Al-Qunfudhah will witness moderate to heavy rains from Saturday to Monday, while the governorates of Turabah, Al-Muwayyah, and Al-Khurma will record light to moderate rains on Saturday and Sunday, November 15 and 16.

Governorates of Medina

In the Medina region, the governorates of Medina, Khaybar, Al-Hanakiyah, Al-Mahd, and Wadi Al-Far’ are expected to witness moderate to heavy rains extending until Monday, November 17, While Yanbu, Badr, and Al-Eis are affected by rain that may reach heavy amounts, and Al-Ula is exposed to light to moderate rain on Friday, November 14, which reappears on Monday, November 17.

Al-Jawf region

Jazan Region

In the far south, the Jazan region is affected by moderate to heavy rains in the governorates of Al-Raith, Harub, Al-Daer, Al-Aydabi, Fayfa, Al-Ardha, Al-Harth, Samtah, Ahad Al-Masarha, Abu Arish, Damad, Sabya, Baysh, Al-Darb, and Al-Tuwal during the period from Friday to Monday 14 – November 17.

Intensity of rain

The center explained in its report that the intensity of rain varies between light, medium and heavy; The amount of precipitation in light rain ranges between (1 – 4 mm/hour) and is accompanied by descending winds that stir up dirt and dust, which may reach speeds of up to 50 km/hour.

In moderate rain, the amount of precipitation ranges between (5 – 9 mm/hour), with descending winds reaching 60 km/hour, flowing torrents, hail, and rising waves on the coasts. As for heavy rain, its amount reaches (10 – 50 km/hour). mm/hour or more) accompanied by strong winds that may exceed 60 km/hour, with the possibility of the formation of tornadoes or waterfalls on the coasts.
