المملكة: Friday weather: thunderstorms and dusty winds hitting these areas
The National Center of Meteorology revealed expected today, Friday, in the Kingdom, warning of thunderstorm rain accompanied by dusty winds in parts of some areas.
While there is still a chance of precipitation accompanied by active winds over parts of the highlands of the Jazan, Asir and Al-Baha regions, extending to the southern parts of the highlands of the Makkah Al-Mukarramah region.
Red Sea
- Surface winds: northwesterly to northerly in the northern and central parts and northwesterly to westerly in the southern part, at a speed of 20-40 km/h, reaching 50 km/h in the central and southern part.
- Wave height: from one to two meters, reaching two and a half meters in the central and southern part.
- Condition Sea: Moderate to wavy in the central and southern parts.
Arabian Gulf
- Surface winds: Southeasterly to southwesterly in the northern part and northwesterly to northerly in the central and southern part, at a speed of 10-30 km/hour.
- Wave height: from half a meter to a meter.
- Sea state: Light wave.
