"Trends" Announcing the competition prize winners "Future researchers" During an exhibition "Sharjah Book"

Sharjah, November 13 / WAM / The Trends Center for Research and Consultation, the research partner of the Sharjah International Book Fair 2025, announced, through its Youth Council, the winners of the “Future Researchers” competition awards in its first edition, which targeted university students within the UAE. It also honored the winners of the first three places in a celebration organized by its pavilion at the Sharjah International Book Fair.
Student Mira Al Hosani from the American University of Sharjah won first place for her research titled “Achieving Personal Data Privacy and Security in the Age of Technology.” Student Li Ziqi from the University of Sharjah came in second place for his research, “Governance of the BRICS+ Group at the Crossroads of Artificial Intelligence and Green Development/Expansionist Visions of New Members.” Third place went to student Alia Bin Khamas from the University of Sharjah, for her research, “Unlocking the Cooperation Potential of the Countries of the South/Exploring the Expansion of BRICS+ and Partnership Prospects.” And convergence.”
Dr. Muhammad Abdullah Al-Ali, CEO of the Trends Center for Research and Consultation, said that the “Future Researchers” competition comes within the framework of the center’s strategic vision to empower young people and enhance their research and scientific capabilities, as it represents one of the qualitative initiatives launched by “Trends” to support the emerging generations, and through it the center seeks to build a generation of distinguished researchers capable of leading the process of scientific research and cognitive progress in the future.
He explained that the competition is a real and practical translation of the center’s vision, “Investing in youth, investing in the future,” as it aims to enhance students’ research skills, starting from formulating the research idea, through collecting and analyzing data, and ending with presenting results and recommendations in professional scientific ways. He added that “Trends” intends to develop the competition in the future to include a broader scope, and to become a regional and international platform specialized in preparing young research cadres capable of anticipating the future with the tools of the present.
For her part, Al-Anoud Al-Hosani, Chair of the Trends Youth Council, said that the “Future Researchers” competition, in its first edition, received 38 various research papers from students studying at various universities in the UAE, and the evaluation committee settled on the three best papers.
