"Islamic Affairs and Endowments" The names of pilgrims are adopted for the season "1447 AH / 2026 AD"

Abu Dhabi, 13 November / WAM / The General Authority for Islamic Affairs, Endowments and Zakat has approved 6,228 male and female citizens to perform the Hajj for the year 1447 AH / 2026 AD, and they were contacted via text messages and various means of communication in preparation for completing the required procedures within the framework of the Authority’s early preparations for the Hajj season.
The Authority confirmed that the selection process was carried out according to the automated sorting program, and according to the specified standards and conditions, revealing that the number of applicants for this season amounted to more than 72,000, and their applications were received through the Authority’s official channels.
She explained that the electronic screening was carried out on principles that took into account justice and equal opportunities. Priority was given to senior citizens and those with health conditions that require special consideration, taking into account the ability to perform Hajj rituals through medical reports, then the most registered applicants without obtaining a permit, followed by citizens who had never performed Hajj, in addition to other regulatory standards that guarantee the safety of pilgrims.
She indicated that for applicants who did not obtain a Hajj permit for this season, their applications were automatically transferred to the Hajj season 1448 AH/2027 AD, without the need to resubmit the application or take any additional action on their part, calling for contacting the unified call center: 8008222 in case of need for inquiries.
The Authority affirmed its keenness and commitment to providing an easy and safe Hajj experience for UAE pilgrims, in line with the vision of the wise leadership in providing the utmost amenities for the country’s pilgrims, and achieving the UAE government’s strategy of providing services in a civilized approach that achieves everyone’s satisfaction and meets their ambitions.
