On the field, the Sudanese forces confirmed that they successfully confronted a number of suicide marches launched by the “Rapid Support” militia. In the city of Merowe this morning to target the headquarters of the 19th Infantry Division, Merowe Airport, and Merowe Dam.
Sudanese ground anti-aircraft guns were able to shoot down all the marches before they reached their targets, and the leadership of the 19th Infantry Division confirmed its full readiness to confront any threats affecting the security and stability of the northern state.
