ADNOC wins 14 awards at the “Middle East Oil and Gas Awards”

ADNOC won 14 awards at the “Oil & Gas Middle East” Awards 2026, presented by the “Oil & Gas Middle East” platform, confirming the reliability and flexibility of its business and the excellence of its personnel and operational processes.
ADNOC achieved exceptional results during the awards ceremony held in Dubai, winning nearly half of the awards, which reflects its solid position as a leading and advanced global energy company that has succeeded in growing and implementing a qualitative shift in recent years.
Multiple cadres and projects from various ADNOC group companies were honored in recognition of outstanding performance across various stages and aspects of the value chain in the energy sector, achieving operational excellence, and success in benefiting from advanced technologies, artificial intelligence tools and solutions, and producing energy responsibly.
The awards also highlight the excellence of the executive management teams, efforts to enable competencies, and continuous progress in the areas of safety, emissions reduction, and implementation of major projects.
The awards cover the areas of exploration, development and production, refining, manufacturing and marketing, in addition to the areas of technical, digital and support functions, confirming the established capabilities across ADNOC’s integrated business portfolio.
Musabih Al Kaabi, CEO of the Exploration, Development and Production Department at ADNOC, said that the “Oil and Gas in the Middle East” awards emphasize the exceptional achievements of personnel, projects and operations that form the basic foundation of ADNOC’s business reliability, flexibility and focus on achieving sustainable value in the long term.

ADNOC recipients of the 2026 Middle East Oil and Gas Awards: The Operations Excellence Leader of the Year award was won by Dr. Ahmed Mohammed Al Abri, CEO of ADNOC Onshore, and the Voice of the Sector award went to ADNOC Offshore.
The Unsung Hero Award was won by Ilyazia Al Kaabi, Piping Engineer, ADNOC Sour Gas, the Sustainability Advocate of the Year Award was won by Samar Al Humaidi, Vice President for Climate Change at ADNOC Group, the Rising Energy Star Award was won by Basma Al Bishr, Head of Planning and Performance at ADNOC Offshore, and the Energy Woman of the Year Award was won by Shamma Al Shehhi, Director of the Wells and Petroleum Engineering Department at ADNOC.
The Competency Empowerment Award went to ADNOC Offshore, the Itqan program to accelerate future national cadres, the Energy Sector Transformation Project of the Year award to ADNOC Gas, for the carbon dioxide capture and injection project, and the Innovator in the Energy Sector of the Year award to ADNOC Sour Gas, improving energy efficiency in sulfur recovery units.
The Emissions Reduction Strategy Award was won by ADNOC Group, the Institutional Framework for Carbon Management, the Exploration Project of the Year Award by ADNOC Onshore, the Fast Track Program to Explore Unconventional Resources, and the Applied Innovation Award by ADNOC Group, the first-ever application of its kind in the world for an innovative hybrid technology to enhance oil recovery. “Brugge.”
