The kingdom concluded, represented by , participated in the work of the Air Services Negotiations Conference (ICAN 2025), during the period from 10 to 14 November in the city of Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic.

The General Authority of Civil Aviation, during its participation with a delegation headed by the Executive Vice President of Air Transport and International Cooperation, Ali bin Muhammad Rajab, and a number of representatives of national carriers, signed a bilateral agreement in the field of with the government of Cape Verde, represented by the head of the Cape Verdean Aviation Authority, Mario Gomez, and the government of Paraguay, represented by the head of air transport, Alison Coleman.

Air transport services

A bilateral agreement was signed in the field of with the Government of Costa Rica, represented by the Director General of the Civil Aviation Directorate, Marcos Masses, in addition to signing an operational memorandum of understanding in the field of air transport services between the Government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Government of Panama, the Government of Liberia, the Government of Italy, and the Government of Luxembourg.

The agreements aim to enhance cooperation between the two sides in the field of air transport services, and bilateral cooperation between the two parties on the basis of common benefit and mutual respect in accordance with the regulations, laws and instructions in force in both countries, and to establish regulatory frameworks for the movement of Air transport between the two countries in a way that contributes to achieving the goals of the National Industrial Development and Logistics Services Program and the Aviation Program aimed at building international partnerships and strengthening international relations in the field of civil aviation between the Kingdom and countries of the world, allowing national carriers to expand the network of their operational plans.

Enhancing international cooperation

The Kingdom held 26 rounds of bilateral discussions and meetings with a number of countries, including the Netherlands, Ethiopia, and the government of Iceland; And Equatorial Guinea, Paraguay, the State of Saint Martin, Honduras, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Trinidad and Tobago, Guinea Bissau, Namibia, and the State of Curaçao.

It resulted in the signing of 21 agreements, memorandums of understanding and a record of discussions to enhance international cooperation in the field of air transport services and bilateral cooperation between the parties on the basis of common benefit and mutual respect in accordance with the regulations, laws and instructions in force in both countries, and to support the objectives of the aviation programme, aimed at To consolidate the Kingdom’s position as a global logistics center linking the three continents and consistent with the objectives of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.
