Political parties in Greenland: "We refuse to be Americans"

Political parties in Greenland issued a joint declaration, confirming American efforts to annex their country, which is the northernmost country in the world.

The statement stressed that the people of Greenland do not want to become Americans.

The leaders of the five parties in the local parliament said late Friday in a joint declaration. "We don’t want to be Americans, we don’t want to be Danes, we want to be Greenlanders". They added "Greenlandians must decide Greenland’s future".
