After the killing of 7 in Kyiv, Zelensky renews his demand for air defense systems

The Ukrainian president demanded Volodymyr Zelensky again Saturday with more Air defense systems, the day after Russian strikes on Kiev left seven dead.
Zelensky’s statements come after Russian missiles hit residential buildings in the Ukrainian capital on Friday.
The Russian-Ukrainian war has been continuing for about four years, amid faltering diplomatic efforts to put an end to the war, and growing concerns about the country’s energy security with the approach of winter.

This was stated in a post by Zelensky on a social media network. "Ukraine needs life-saving support, more air defense systems, more protection capabilities and greater resolve from our partners."
Ukrainian authorities reported on Saturday that the death toll from an attack that took place on Friday in Kiev had risen to seven, after an elderly woman died in the hospital.
Zelensky said that one of the victims was Natalia Khodmenchuk, the wife of an operator at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant who died in the 1986 disaster.
