The Egyptian national team raises Al-Ahly’s concern over Zizou

The Egyptian Football Association announced that Ahmed Sayed (Zizou), the Al-Ahly winger, Hamdi Fathi, the Qatari Al-Wakra player, and Salah Mohsen, the Egyptian Port Said player, were injured.
Zizou participated mainly in the “Pharaohs” 0-2 loss to Uzbekistan on Friday in the friendly Al Ain International Cup held in Abu Dhabi, before leaving the field in the 59th minute, while Mohsen came on as a substitute nine minutes later, and Fathi did not participate in the match.
The Egyptian Federation said in a statement on its website, “Mohamed Abu El-Ela, the first team doctor, revealed the initial diagnosis for the Egyptian national team trio, Hamdi Fathi, Zizo, and Salah Mohsen.”
The statement added that Fathi suffers from an injury to the leg muscles, while Zizou suffered an injury to the tendons surrounding the knee, and Mohsen suffers from an injury to the posterior thigh muscles.
Egypt will play against Cape Verde next Monday in the third-place match in the friendly tournament, which also includes Iran and Uzbekistan.
