"Abu Dhabi Athletics" Organizes a festival "Talent discovery" With the participation of 421 students
Abu Dhabi, November 16 / WAM / The Abu Dhabi Athletics Club announced the participation of 421 male and female students in the Talent Discovery Festival in Al Ain and Al Dhafra over the past two days.
The club explained in a statement today that the Al Ain activities witnessed the participation of 97 male and female students, while the number of participants in the Al Dhafra activities reached 324 male and female students.
He pointed out that the activities included running races, jumping, light ball throwing, and a back flexibility measuring device to assess the physical fitness of the participants, familiarize them with their physical capabilities, and adopt an active and healthy lifestyle in a safe environment.
His Excellency Khalid Rashid Al Zaabi, Chairman of the Club’s Board of Directors, stressed the importance of these events within the strategy of discovering talents and providing a stimulating environment for talents in this age group, especially since the club recently celebrated the fourth anniversary of its founding.
Al Zaabi noted that the club has contracted with Tunisian Olympic champion Habiba Al Gharibi, a distance coach and supervisor, Haitham Noureddine as a coach and supervisor for the jump sector, and Fatima Al Marzouqi, a nutrition specialist, as part of its development efforts.
