Tightened The Ministry of Education is required to take strict educational and remedial measures regarding behavioral violations that pose a danger to students and school property, within the rules of conduct and attendance approved in general education schools, which are the regulatory framework for controlling behavior within the school community and promoting a safe and stimulating educational environment.
These violating behaviors include: intentionally injuring someone Studentsby hitting them by hand or using sharp tools, resulting in bleeding wounds or fractures, stealing official school property, photographing or recording audio of students inside the school without permission, deliberately damaging or sabotaging school property and equipment such as school tools, electrical appliances and the smart board, in addition to smoking of all kinds inside the school, escaping from school during work, bringing dangerous materials or toys such as fireworks or chemicals, as well as displaying or distributing prohibited media materials, whether they are Read, audio or visual.
The Ministry confirmed that immediately If the student commits any of these violations, the first procedure will be applied immediately, and if it is repeated, the second procedure will be moved to the second procedure, which includes higher measures at the firmness level.
Punishments for students
The first procedure includes referring the student directly from the school administration to the Student Guidance Committee to study the violation and take the necessary steps, where the guardian is invited to inform him of the seriousness of the behavior and the consequences of its repetition, explain the behavior modification plan, develop a joint preventive program between the school and the family, and take a written pledge from the student not to repeat the unacceptable behavior, warning him of the possibility of transferring him to another school upon repetition, and the guardian’s signature with knowledge.
The procedure also includes deducting ten full marks from the student’s positive behavior grades while giving him opportunities for compensation. Notifying the guardian of this procedure, submitting an official apology from the student to those who were harmed by the behavior, repairing what the student damaged or bringing a replacement according to the requirements, notifying the guardian of this, confiscating the prohibited materials in his possession and destroying them where there is no regulatory text, preparing an official report on this from the Student Guidance Committee, and transferring the student from one class to another in accordance with the committee’s decision, in addition to monitoring his educational condition by the student advisor on an ongoing basis.
As for the second procedure that is applied when the same violation is repeated, it includes implementing everything mentioned in the first procedure except transferring the student between classes, with the minutes of the Student Guidance Committee meeting officially and urgently submitted to the Education Department.
The procedure includes issuing a decision from the Director of Education to transfer the student to another school, with the student continuing his studies in his current school until the transfer procedures are completed. The opinion of the guardian is taken about the school to which the student will move, and if he does not agree, the student is transferred to the school closest to his place of residence.
The student in the new school is also given the opportunity to make up for the lost grades and modify his behavior, and the guardian is notified of this, with his condition being followed up by the student advisor at the school to which he is transferred and providing the necessary educational services.
The Ministry stresses the implementation of a number of accompanying measures in all cases without exception, including calling the Red Crescent to transport the injured student to the nearest health center if necessary, notifying the competent security authorities immediately after the violation occurs after notifying the guardian, and officially documenting all the measures taken.
If the violation is classified as a case of abuse or neglect or what is mentioned within the relevant regulations, communication is made directly with the 1919 Report Receiving Center to take legal measures. Updated.
