Dubai Airshow.. "Edge" and"Vettel" They establish a framework for future cooperation
Dubai, November 17, 2017 – The EDGE Group announced the signing of a memorandum of understanding during the Dubai Airshow 2025, with the Fateel Group, the largest communications and technology group in Vietnam.
The agreement was signed by Omar Al Zaabi, Head of Commercial Affairs at EDGE Group, and Major General Nguyen Dinh Chien, Vice President of Viettel Group, in the presence of Lieutenant General Hoang Xuan Chien, Deputy Minister of Defense of Vietnam.
The memorandum sets a clear basis for enhancing potential cooperation opportunities in advanced technology and advanced defense industries, and also charts a path for joint initiatives in high-value programs of common interest.
This includes the possibility of developing an original equipment manufacturing model in Vietnam for parts and components related to Edge product lines, targeting the UAE market and other export markets. Potential cooperation also includes opportunities in the areas of research, exchange and technology transfer, in addition to cooperation in technical training.
