Khalid bin Mohammed bin Zayed and Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid witness the air show accompanying the “Dubai Air Show” in its 19th session

His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of the Executive Council of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, and His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defense, Chairman of the Executive Council of the Emirate of Dubai, witnessed today the air show accompanying the nineteenth and largest edition ever of the “Dubai Air Show”, which continues until November 21 at “Dubai World Central”, where the show included a group of commercial aircraft. The military is one of the newest and most advanced in the world.
Their Highnesses expressed their admiration for the distinguished air displays witnessed in the show supported by advanced technologies that reflect the level of development reached by the global aviation sector, and what the exhibition represents as a pioneering platform for displaying the latest innovations and capabilities in the world of aviation, as the major international companies that manufacture civil and combat aircraft are keen to participate in the event, which is considered one of the most important global events in the fields of aviation and defense.
The air show on the first day of the Dubai Airshow 2025 included a busy air program that began with a display of a formation of Emirati aircraft, followed by a display by the “Fursan Al Emarat” air aerobatic team, then a flight of the futuristic JOBY aircraft, and a display of the Rafale fighter, the B52 strategic bomber, and the advanced F35 fighter.
The air show also included a display of the Boeing 777X and the F16, which are among the most advanced and widespread types of fighter aircraft in the world.
The air show also included the participation of the “Surya Kiran” aerobatic team of the Indian Air Force, along with the Chinese COMAC 919 passenger aircraft, which is participating for the first time in the exhibition, the KA-52 attack helicopter, the Sukhoi 57 fighter, the Emirati-designed and manufactured Bader 250 training aircraft, the Mirage 2000-9 fighter, as well as the Airbus 350 and TEJAS aircraft, and the patrol aircraft. Navy P8, to conclude the show with the formation of “Marche Verte”, the air demonstration team of the Royal Moroccan Air Force, in an integrated aerial painting that reflects the diversity of military and commercial aviation capabilities participating in the exhibition.
The Dubai Air Show pays increasing attention to advanced air transport, emphasizing the role of the Emirate of Dubai as a center for innovation. The exhibition will witness, for the first time in its history, the flight of electric vertical take-off and landing aircraft, including the Gobi Aviation aircraft.
The advanced air transport pavilion provides visitors with the opportunity to learn about the development of urban mobility, as pioneering electric aircraft reveal flexibility, innovation and enormous potential that will change the concept of mobility globally.
The exhibition hosts more than 1,500 exhibitors, 440 of which are registering their first participation, along with 148,000 visitors, and 490 military and civilian delegations from 115 countries.
The exhibition will also include 21 national pavilions, including the first participation of the Kingdom of Morocco, in addition to 98 chalets and an additional exhibition area of 8,000 square metres, as well as 120 startup companies and 50 investors.
