"GE Aerospace" and"Gulf Helicopter" You sign a maintenance and repair services agreement

DUBAI, 18th November, 2018 (WAM) — GE Aerospace and Gulf Helicopters, a global provider of commercial aviation services based in Qatar, announced that they have signed a services agreement for the maintenance, repair and overhaul of six CT7-2E1 engines that power three AW189 helicopters.

The agreement – which was signed on the sidelines of the Dubai Air Show – includes the provision of replacement engines from GE Aerospace to reduce the interruption of aircraft operations.

Captain Mohammed Al Hilal, from Gulf Helicopters, said: “Signing the agreement at the Dubai Air Show confirms our continued focus on safety, reliability and readiness to accomplish missions for our customers in the energy sector.”

For his part, Salim Muslim, Regional Vice President of GE Aerospace, said that the TrueChoice services agreement with Gulf Helicopters contributes to laying the foundation for a new level of engine maintenance and support for helicopter operators in the Middle East and North Africa region.
