Iraqi fans celebrate Al-Abyad fans.. “Welcome to Zayed’s children”

The Iraqi fans present at the stadium in the Iraqi city of Basra today, Tuesday, to attend the match between the UAE and Iraq national teams in the Asian round in the qualifying round for the 2026 World Cup, raised welcome banners to receive and warmly greet the Emirati fans who were in Iraq to support the UAE national team in this match.

The Iraqi public raised a welcoming banner, “Welcome to Zayed’s children,” and the banner shows holding hands as an expression of the depth of the relations between the two brotherly countries.


The Basra City Stadium witnessed a large crowd of fans of the Emirati and Iraqi teams, given the importance of the decisive match in the teams’ journey towards qualifying for the next round in the World Cup World Cup playoff.
