On the occasion of the signing of His Highness Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and Minister of Foreign AffairsMarco Rubio, documentfor Artificial Intelligence between the two countries. His Highness and Rubio stressed that the signing of the Strategic Partnership Document for Artificial Intelligence is a historic step that establishes a new phase in the strategic relationship between the two countries, and reflects the firm commitment of both sides to promoting innovation and technical progress, in pursuit of a comprehensive and long-term economic security partnership to deepen joint security commitments and enhance economic prosperity by employing advanced and future technologies, for the mutual benefit of our two great countries.
Strategic Partnership
The two sides indicated that the strategic partnership includes providing advanced semiconductors, developing artificial intelligence applications, building and developing advanced infrastructure for artificial intelligence, developing national capabilities, and expanding qualitative investments between the two sides in these areas, which in turn will contribute to enhancing productivity and innovation, growth and prosperity, and achieving economic and social returns for the two countries.
This strategic partnership invests in intelligence Artificial Intelligence: The competitive advantages of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, represented by the abundance of land, energy sources, and geographical location, to build artificial intelligence technology clusters that meet the local, regional, and global demand for artificial intelligence and cloud computing services. This partnership also benefits from the specific technical system in the United States as an engine for economic growth.
The two sides stressed the importance of this partnership in strengthening economic relations between Saudi companies and American companies in future technologies, which lay the foundation for the development of innovative and promising solutions in various vital sectors such as health, education, energy, mining, and transportation.
