He added: Yesterday we had an amazing visit at the White House celebrating the 80-year bond between the United States of America and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
He continued: Yesterday we officially named the Kingdom a major ally outside NATO. It is a great honor that rarely happens, so I just want to congratulate you on that. This is a sign of trust. We signed a historic strategic defense agreement yesterday. Also, it is a very honorable partnership.
Trump added: We will sell to Saudi Arabia some of the greatest military equipment ever built.
He concluded his speech by emphasizing that the two countries are working together to make the alliance stronger and more powerful than it has ever been.
