My mother prevented me from attending my father’s funeral.. A famous artist raises controversy with her statements!

Over the past few days, statements attributed to Egyptian artist Asma Galal have spread during which it was claimed that her mother prevented her from attending her father’s funeral after she entered the field of acting, which prompted the latter to issue an official statement to resolve the ongoing controversy.

Asma Jalal revealed, in a statement published on her official Instagram account, that she completely rejects what is being circulated regarding her relationship with her family, denying all the statements attributed to her that her mother prevented her from attending her father’s funeral, and stressing that these allegations are “completely baseless” and were not made by her in any way.

Her statement said: “I clearly confirm that the statements attributed to me that are being circulated are completely incorrect and did not come from me in any way, and I categorically refuse to include my name or the name of my family in any offensive or fabricated content… I will take the necessary legal measures against any party or person who circulates, publishes, or promotes these lies, in order to preserve my right, the right of my family, and our reputation.”
