The signing ceremony took place in the Rifaad pavilion during the Cityscape International 2025 exhibition, held in Riyadh from November 17 to 20, to consolidate the project’s position. In his comment on the agreement, Mr. Abdul Hadi Al-Qahtani, General Manager of Refaad, confirmed that this partnership with Hilton represents a strategic station in Refaad’s journey towards developing integrated urban destinations that embody the standards of luxury and sustainability, and enhance Al-Khobar’s presence as a destination. The hotel will be built according to Hilton standards in design, operation and sustainability, to provide an upscale hospitality experience and a unique design inspired by the local identity. It will also include 161 rooms and suites, in addition to a group of facilities that include a main café, an all-day dining restaurant, and a private lounge for VIP guests. The hotel also provides meeting rooms, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, a fitness center, and a spa, to give guests a luxurious hotel experience that reflects the identity of the destination and supports tourism and business activity in the Eastern Region.
It represents "Markan Quarter" An integrated urban destination on King Fahd Road in the city of Al-Khobar, with an area of approximately 17,000 square meters, and a total building area of 57,000 square meters, to be one of the most prominent mixed-use projects in the Eastern Province.
