المملكة: Members of 7,498 associations were prevented from photographing inside the Two Holy Mosques
Prevent National Center for Non-Profit Sector Development Association members from photography with The Prophet’s Mosque, in order to achieve the goals of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.
In detail, the Center has categorically prohibited the use of the name of the Two Holy Mosques or their sacred images, most notably the Kaaba, in any media activities related to non-profit organizations.
The ban also included the use of images of employees of the General Authority for the Care of the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque or to highlight its services, to avoid any interference in powers.
An atmosphere of reverence and tranquility
The Center explained that this proactive measure aims to prevent any suggestion that associations assume regulatory or operational roles that fall exclusively within the Authority’s sovereign jurisdiction.
The Steering Center stressed the need for strict adherence to the approved controls, considering that this discipline constitutes a basic foundation for enhancing the efficiency of the sector and framing its development contribution.
These directives come In line with the tireless awareness efforts to appeal to visitors to limit photography, in order to ensure the smooth flow of movement in the squares and corridors.
These organizational efforts aim to establish the unique character of devotion, deepen the atmosphere of reverence and tranquility, and protect worshipers from any visual distractions while performing their religious rituals.
Integration of government agencies
These crucial decisions gain exceptional importance given the size of the huge sector, The new regulations apply to seven thousand four hundred and ninety-eight supervisory entities.
These entities bound by the regulations are distributed to include five thousand eight hundred and eighty-nine civil society associations, nine hundred and ninety-five family funds, and six hundred and fourteen civil society organizations.
The Center continues its pivotal role in the financial and administrative supervision of this vast system, to ensure its governance in accordance with the highest international standards, with integrity. Permanent cooperation with government agencies.
