In the presence of the Crown Prince of Ras Al Khaimah…"Stand up" and"Emerg" They sign an agreement to cooperate in promoting clean energy solutions
Ras Al Khaimah, 20 November / WAM / In the presence of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Crown Prince of Ras Al Khaimah, the Ras Al Khaimah Economic Zones Authority (RAKZ) and Emerge Company, the joint venture company between Abu Dhabi Future Energy Company (Masdar) and the EDF Power Solutions Group, signed a memorandum of understanding aimed at promoting renewable energy solutions within the RAKEZ system, during the second session of the Ras Al Khaimah Investment and Business Summit.
The cooperation aims to accelerate the adoption of clean technologies and sustainable practices across the industrial and commercial sectors in the emirate.
The agreement was signed by Yasser Abdullah Al-Ahmad, Head of the Government and Corporate Communications Sector at RAKEZ, and Michel Abi Saab, General Manager of Emerge, in the presence of Luc Coquelin, CEO of EDF Power Solutions in the Middle East, and Ali Al-Shammari, Member of the Board of Directors of Emerge.
Under this cooperation, RAKEZ and Emerge seek to identify and implement sustainable energy projects throughout the economic zones, including solar energy generation, energy storage, and hybrid solutions in line with the UAE’s vision for clean energy and Ras Al Khaimah’s strategy for energy efficiency and renewable energy 2040.
