Ammar bin Humaid hands over doctoral degrees and honorary professorships to 6 pioneers of the health sector in the country

Ajman, November 20 / WAM / His Highness Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman and Chairman of the Executive Council, witnessed a ceremony honoring a group of prominent figures in the country’s health sectors, and awarding them honorary doctorates and honorary professorships from the Gulf Medical University in Ajman.

His Highness the Crown Prince of Ajman presented an honorary doctorate to His Excellency Mirza Al Sayegh and His Excellency Fayrouz Alana, in appreciation of their outstanding contributions to community service and their continued support of health care and medical education programs.

This honor comes in recognition of their distinguished efforts in strengthening institutional partnerships and influential community initiatives.

His Highness also awarded four honorary professorships to a number of prominent leaders in the medical and health care field, namely Dr. Samih Tarabishi, Dr. Abdullah Al-Khayyat, Dr. Abdul Rahim Mostafawi, and Professor Humaid Al-Shamsi, in celebration of their achievements in promoting health care, academic medicine, and innovation in the field of medical services.

His Highness Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi said that honoring the pioneers of the health sector is a tribute to their noble mission and their continuous efforts to improve human health and enhance the quality of life.

His Highness stressed that the UAE attaches great importance to developing the health care system and supporting scientific and medical competencies capable of creating a more advanced and sustainable future.

His Highness added: We are proud of these figures who have contributed to establishing a culture of excellence in the health sector, and we believe that honoring innovators represents an incentive to continue giving.

The ceremony was attended by Sheikh Rashid bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Head of the Municipality and Planning Department, Sheikh Abdullah bin Majid Al Nuaimi, Director General of the Citizens Affairs Office in Ajman, and a number of sheikhs and senior officials.

The honorees at the ceremony expressed their deep thanks to His Highness Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, stressing that this honor constitutes an important milestone in their journey that extends for years of work in the service of the nation and society, and is an incentive to continue the effort and giving in the health and educational sectors.

They stressed that their honor from His Highness the Crown Prince of Ajman constitutes a source of inspiration for all workers in the medical sector.
