The Egyptian Ambassador to Djibouti discusses trade cooperation with the Minister of Finance and Economy in charge of Industry
Elyas Moussa Douala, Minister of Finance and Economy in charge of Industry of Djibouti, received Ambassador Abdel-Rahman Raafat, Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt to Djibouti, where they discussed the importance of enhancing trade exchange and investments and encouraging the Egyptian private sector to engage in development projects in Djibouti, in line with the Djibouti National Vision 2035 and implementing the outcomes of the presidential visit to Djibouti in April 2025.
The meeting dealt with other matters. Developments in Egyptian projects in Djibouti, specifically in the areas of Djibouti ports and free zones, energy and electricity, trade and investment, and what was included in the official opening of the Bank of Egypt Djibouti.
