Khorfakkan celebrates the Islamic Arts Festival

Sharjah, November 21, 2017 (WAM) – Mohammed Ibrahim Al Qaseer, Director of the Cultural Affairs Department at the Sharjah Department of Culture, Director of the Islamic Arts Festival, opened the “Noor on Light” exhibition by the Kuwaiti artist Aseel Al-Yaqoub, and the “Mishkat” exhibition by the Emirati artists Abdullah Al-Astad and Majid Al-Bastaki, at the Khor Fakkan Amphitheater in the presence of a number of artists, media professionals and art lovers.

The artwork “Light on Light” embodies the imaginative and experimental as it redefines light – not as a mere glow but as a state of what is seen.
