Romanian Carmen Petraru plays "Symphony of flowers" Salah Taher in the opera

Under the title "Symphony of Flowers" The Cairo Opera House, headed by Dr. Alaa Abdel Salam, will host an exhibition by the Romanian artist Carmen Petraro, and it will open at 6:30 pm on Monday, November 24, 2025, in Salah Taher Hall. Special.

 

The exhibition continues daily until Sunday, November 30, from 10:00 am to 2:30 pm and from 4:30 pm until 8:30 pm, except Friday.

 

It is noteworthy that Carmen Petraru was born in Peche, Romania, and resides in Egypt. She emerged in the contemporary art scene through works that explore the power of color and nature, and after years of work in the field of law and business development. She began her journey in the field of plastic art to find in it a language for contemplation and emotional expression. Her works were inspired by nature, flowers, and the rhythm of music to produce paintings characterized by vitality and depth. She held a solo exhibition entitled “The Labyrinth of Joy.” Her works were accepted and appreciated by audiences and critics. 

 

The exhibition comes within the framework of the Ministry of Culture and the Opera House’s keenness to provide various artistic experiences that highlight the aesthetics of contemporary creativity and enrich the plastic movement in Egypt.
