The vaccine is given as a single dose and requires careful preservation procedures.

These two vaccines join the list of other essential immunizations emphasized by the guide, such as the seasonal influenza vaccine and the Streptococcus pneumoniae vaccine, which reflects a keenness to provide integrated protection.
