The South Korean President discusses with his Brazilian counterpart and the Prime Minister of India ways to enhance bilateral cooperation

South Korean President Lee Jae-myung, with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva, separately discussed ways to support and strengthen bilateral cooperation relations.
During his meeting with the Indian Prime Minister on the sidelines of the G20 summit in South Africa, the Korean President expressed his hope to enhance bilateral cooperation in the economy, culture, security and exchanges between people, during his meeting with the Indian Prime Minister on the sidelines of the G20 summit in South Africa, according to the Korean news agency “Yonhap”. The Indian Prime Minister praised South Korea’s advanced shipbuilding capabilities and proposed a cooperative framework for multiple small groups that include South Korea and India in future-oriented sectors such as shipbuilding. He also expressed his hope to enhance bilateral cooperation in the defense industry, inviting the Korean President to visit India to support the promotion of exchanges between the two countries in economy, culture and security.
The two sides agreed on the need to strengthen bilateral cooperation in various fields, including artificial intelligence and the defense industry, and work together to conduct working-level consultations. The South Korean and Brazilian presidents discussed ways to enhance cooperation between the two governments in the fields of economy, culture and security, in addition to cooperation between the private sector, and exchanged views on economic policy, income redistribution and democracy, and they exchanged invitations to visit the two countries.
