SitusAMC said The technology provider said in a statement on its website, on Saturday, that it was subjected to a cyber attack on November 12, which led to some information being compromised from its systems and that "Data relating to some of our corporate clients may also be affected"

SitusAMC said the affected data included information related to some customers’ transactions with the company, including items such as accounting documents and legal contracts.

The company’s CEO, Michael Franco, said in a statement to the New York Times: "We continue to focus on analyzing any data that may be affected"adding that the company notified law enforcement.

He added that the incident was contained, and that the services are operating at full capacity, noting that no encrypted malware was used in the hacking process.

FBI Director Kash Patel said in a statement: "While we are working closely with affected organizations and our partners to understand the extent of the potential impact, we have not identified any operational impact on Banking services".
