Walaa Al-Jundi: My second participation in a festival "Singing in classical Arabic" Honor and evidence of trust

Regarding her relationship with classical classical music and the formation of her artistic personality, Al-Jundi explained that her early upbringing had the greatest role in building this connection, saying: “Those of us who were young were raised on traditional songs, music songs, and classical classical songs, so this sense grew with us naturally. After I participated in one of the programs and sang works such as “Madhanaak,” this passion increased and people became attached to me in this color, so I continued to follow it.”
Al-Jundi spoke about the role of Arab women in renewing Singing culture in classical Arabic and enhancing linguistic awareness, stressing the importance of preserving the Arabic language as a basic link between the Arab peoples.
She said: “Our Arabic dialect is one of the greatest and most difficult dialects in the world, and unfortunately we are witnessing an increasing tendency towards other dialects for ease of communication, but classical Arabic remains the language that everyone understands from the Gulf to Morocco. It is important for it to remain present in schools, universities, and poetry and talent programs, because it is the essence of identity and a language that unites the entire Arab world.”
Regarding the interaction of the audience in the Eastern Province, Al-Jundi expressed her great appreciation for the Saudi audience, saying: “The audience was going crazy as usual. This is the second time I’ve been on Ithra Theater, and I previously presented two successful concerts here, and today the audience was happy, singing and playing… and this, for me, is the most important indicator of success.”
