The European Union and America will resume trade talks tomorrow to resolve outstanding issues

Brussels, November 23 / WAM / The European Union and the United States will resume trade negotiations tomorrow, Monday, in Brussels, after a two-month hiatus, with the aim of resolving the remaining unresolved points in the July trade agreement.

US Commerce Secretary Howard Latnik and Trade Representative Jameson Greer will participate in high-level meetings in Brussels on Monday, in the presence of 27 European trade ministers and European Trade Commissioner Maroš Šefčović.

Among the key outstanding issues are the current 50% tariffs on steel and aluminium, separate customs duties on goods with steel components, and tax rates on food and beverage products.
