A partnership between the UAE Government Leadership Program and"Airbus Beyond"

Dubai, November 24 / WAM / The UAE Government Leadership Program announced the launch of a strategic partnership with the “Airbus Beyond” initiative, the educational and training institution affiliated with Airbus International, as part of the UAE government’s efforts to enhance the government leadership development system and build national capabilities in accordance with the highest international standards.

This partnership comes within the framework of the UAE Government Leadership Program’s keenness to enhance cooperation in the fields of talent management and leadership skills development, and to benefit from Airbus’ global expertise in designing and implementing advanced programs to qualify government leaders and develop their capabilities, in line with a long-term vision that keeps pace with future transformations and consolidates the UAE’s leadership in government work.

The memorandum of understanding was signed by Mohammed Yousef Al-Sharhan, Director of the Government Leadership and Talent Department in the Prime Minister’s Office at the Ministry of Cabinet Affairs, and Adam McGonigal, CEO of Airbus Beyond, during the activities of the Dubai Airshow 2025.

Mohammed Al Sharhan stressed the keenness of the UAE Government Leadership Program to expand the network of global partnerships aimed at strengthening the capabilities of government leaders in the country, and enabling them to possess the skills and experience necessary to lead future governments and actively participate in bringing about positive change in the government work system.

He pointed out that cooperation with Airbus Beyond opens wide horizons for UAE government leaders to learn about the best practices and innovative models globally, and provides a platform for communication with a group of the most prominent influential figures in the aviation sector, allowing us to benefit from the expertise of this vital sector and build on its advanced models in developing innovative practices that enhance the efficiency and leadership of government work.

For his part, Adam McGonigal, CEO of Airbus Beyond, said: “At Airbus, we believe that leadership development is the driving force behind the wheel of innovation and shaping the future, and that the partnership reflects a shared commitment to empowering high-potential individuals with the knowledge, experience, and global visions necessary to lead in an increasingly complex world.”

The partnership between the two sides provides the distinguished government leadership cadres in the UAE with opportunities to participate in the leading Airbus leadership events, such as the Leadership Forum and other specialized forums, in addition to providing opportunities for learning and development through the Airbus Beyond leadership programs, and the possibilities to communicate and benefit from the expertise of senior executives at Airbus.

The partnership also includes cooperation between the two sides in hosting speakers from Airbus leaders in major events organized by the UAE government, to speak in leadership sessions, specialized dialogues and panel discussions, designed to inspire and engage future leaders in the UAE.

The “UAE Government Leaders” program aims to develop and enhance the leadership capabilities of national cadres within a comprehensive methodology, focusing on self-learning, acquiring knowledge, and learning about the best global experiences, providing leaders with the necessary skills to face future challenges, and developing the skills of managing and implementing transformational projects and other advanced solutions in the field of leadership preparation and capacity building. The program is distinguished by its comprehensive, innovative approach to developing leaders, its combination of theoretical training and practical applications, and its focus on developing personal and professional capabilities through a combination of practical training and personal guidance.

It is noteworthy that Airbus began its activity in the Middle East region more than fifty years ago, where it works with governments, airlines, and institutions to nurture, develop and inspire talent, and cooperates with educational institutions and universities in the region to implement programs that enhance education in the sectors of space and aviation, innovation, and the fields of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
