Abu Dhabi Customs organizes a forum "Together we rise"

ABU DHABI, 24 November / WAM / The General Administration of Abu Dhabi Customs organized the annual forum “Together We Rise” under the slogan “The goal guides us and change motivates us”, as part of its ongoing efforts to promote a flexible and stimulating work environment based on excellence in performance and sustainability in development to adapt to future requirements and support global competitiveness, in line with the strategic visions and objectives of the Abu Dhabi government and in line with the “We Are the Emirates 2031” vision.

The forum, which was held at Ferrari World Abu Dhabi on Yas Island, was attended by His Excellency Ahmed Jassim Al Zaabi, Chairman of the Department of Economic Development – Abu Dhabi, His Excellency Rashid Lahej Al Mansouri, Director General of Abu Dhabi Customs, and His Excellency Fahd Gharib Al Shamsi, Acting Secretary General of the Abu Dhabi Quality and Conformity Council, along with representatives of the Department of Government Empowerment – Abu Dhabi, and a number of officials and employees.

His Excellency Ahmed Jassim Al Zaabi said: “Our investments in human capital come from the leadership’s vision and commitment to developing national talent, empowering them and enhancing their contributions to sustainable development. We see the importance of institutional efforts in the public and private sectors and their integration in order to develop skills and enhance innovation on an ongoing basis to achieve the strategic priorities of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.”

For his part, His Excellency Rashid Lahej Al Mansouri delivered a speech in which he stressed that Abu Dhabi Customs continues to adopt the approach of positive change and innovation in the customs work system, ensuring the enhancement of institutional efficiency and achieving the highest levels of service in accordance with the highest international standards, relying thus on its human capital that leads innovation and ensures the sustainability of excellence, and at the same time benefiting from artificial intelligence tools and modern technologies to support the strategic objectives of the Abu Dhabi government and achieve the aspirations of the wise leadership.

The forum included interactive sessions that addressed effective leadership strategies, stimulating creativity, adopting a culture of positive change, and reviewing the most prominent achievements of Abu Dhabi Customs for the past year and plans for the next stage, in addition to organizing a panel discussion at the conclusion of the forum for the Abu Dhabi Quality and Conformity Council.

Abu Dhabi Customs continues to enhance its institutional leadership by achieving distinguished results in various fields, by obtaining 58 awards during the year 2025 in recognition of institutional excellence and innovation, and reaching the level of “excellence” in the institutional maturity of customer experience for the year 2024, out of an evaluation of 43 government agencies in Abu Dhabi, and achieving 96% in the customer satisfaction index for Abu Dhabi Customs digital services.
