Solutions+ officially launched the Community Football League in Abu Dhabi, with its competitions starting on November 18 on Al Maryah Island.
This initiative comes with the support of Mubadala, and reflects Solutions+’s growing commitment to enhancing community participation, establishing a healthy lifestyle, and inspiring young people to practice sports and develop their skills, in line with the UAE’s vision of building a prosperous and vibrant sports system.
This league, as the company’s first sports initiative, represents an important milestone in the “Solutions+” journey, as it establishes a new generation of community sports programs. It was designed to be a comprehensive platform that brings together players from different segments of society, enabling them to compete and hone their skills in a safe and stimulating environment, strengthening social ties and highlighting emerging local talent.
On this occasion, Abdullah Al Mansouri, Acting Chairman of Abu Dhabi Entertainment Company (a subsidiary of Solutions+), said: “We are proud to launch the first sports tournament under the umbrella of Solutions+; It is an initiative aimed at nurturing young talent and expanding community participation. With financial prizes exceeding 80,000 dirhams allocated, we aim to motivate the teams to develop their capabilities, enhance sportsmanship, and consolidate the culture of sports among young people in the UAE. This community league is not just a competition, but a platform for learning, growth and national pride.”
Mubadala has been a major supporter in achieving the vision of this league, by enabling youth and community members to access high-quality sporting opportunities, promoting the importance of physical activity, and contributing to establishing a social environment that makes sport an essential element in personal and community development.
It is noteworthy that the league includes 32 teams from various regions of Abu Dhabi, with an average of 12 to 20 players in each team. With four matches being held daily and a total of 20 matches per week over three months, the league promises to provide a vibrant competitive atmosphere that combines sporting excitement and community interaction.
The season began with the participation of four teams that presented strong and fast matches that ignited the enthusiasm of the fans, and established the beginning of a competitive atmosphere full of fun, which is expected to continue throughout the season. The competitions will continue until January 31, 2026, concluding with a major event at Al Jazira Club Stadium, where the best teams compete for the championship title in a scene that celebrates skill, passion, and community spirit.
