“Al-Tadawi” flies on the “Nad Al Sheba plane”

The defending champion “Al Tadawi” team continued its strong performances in the volleyball championship in the 13th edition of the “Nad Al Sheba Sports Tournament”, the largest sporting event of its kind in the holy month of Ramadan, which is held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence, and under the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Dubai Sports Council, under the slogan “Unlimited Capabilities”.

“Al-Tadawi” achieved its second victory in a row after defeating the “Tiger Zabeel” team in three games without a response (25-21, 25-19, 25-20), bringing it close to clinching the qualification ticket to the semi-finals, where it will meet the “MI Investment” team tomorrow in an anticipated confrontation.

In a second match, the “MI Investment” team defeated the “Zabeel” team with a score of (3-2) in a marathon match that extended into five rounds.

With these results, “Al-Tadawi” topped the standings of Group Two with six points from two victories without losing any half, while “MI Investment” came in second place with five points, after two wins versus losing two games.

In the tug-of-war tournament, the National Guard team began the campaign to defend its title by defeating the Ministry of Defense team with a score of (2-0), confirming its intention to continue the journey towards the podium, after deciding the confrontation with two clean games.

In the government institutions category, the Air Force team defeated the Dubai Civil Defense team with the same score (2-0).

In the community category, the competitions witnessed strong confrontations, as the “AG Mustafa 1” team defeated “Trans Guard” (2-0), and the “Al-Jawareh” team defeated “W World Gym” (2-0) in the first group.

In the second group, the “IFBB” Sports Academy team achieved victory over “Raptor Gym” (2-0), and the “Al-Mahdawi and Al-Harbi” team also surpassed its counterpart “The Fighters” with the same result.

In the third group, the “Wasl” team defeated “Al-Ajban” (2-0), and the “Avalar” team defeated the “Dutco Construction Group” team (2-0). As for the fourth group, the “Level Up” team achieved victory over “Global” (2-0), while the “Olympia” team defeated the “Mangalore Warriors” with a score of (2-1) in the most competitive match of the round.

In the junior category, the Sharjah Amiri Guard Sports Club team won over the Sharjah Self-Defense Sports Club team (2-0), and the Sharjah Academy of Police Sciences team defeated the “A25 Gym” team with the same result.
