Mansour bin Zayed witnesses part of the “Mansour bin Zayed Football Cup” competitions

Yesterday evening, His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President of the UAE, Deputy Prime Minister and Head of the Presidential Office, witnessed part of the competitions of the third round of the group stage of the “Mansour bin Zayed Football Cup” in its 13th edition.

The championship competitions will be held at the stadium of the Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental Hotel in the capital, Abu Dhabi, and are organized by the Sports Committee at the Presidential Office, in cooperation with the Emirates Football Association and the Emirates Professional League. His Highness followed the match that brought together the teams of the Judicial Department and the Audit and Institutional Development Office.

This tournament is an embodiment of His Highness’s interest and constant keenness to support the sports and youth movement in the country, and to enhance the role of Ramadan events in encouraging society to adopt an active sporting style, which contributes to improving the quality of life, spreading sports culture, and consolidating the bonds of interdependence between participants in a stimulating environment.

His Highness praised the positive role of the tournament, in light of the wide participation of the various teams, praising the distinguished sports performance and the high technical and organizational level. His Highness also noted the high sportsmanship that brings together the participants in this Ramadan gathering aimed at enhancing the status of sports, and its essential role in consolidating community communication, wishing His Highness success and success for all participating teams.
