المملكة: Education evaluation: The Saudi model is pioneering in the Arab world and internationally as a result of leadership support
The Chairman of the Board of Directors of Khalid bin Abdullah Al-Sabti The Council of Ministers appreciated the recommendations issued by the (sixth) conference of the Arab Network for Quality Assurance in Higher Education, which was hosted by the Kingdom with the participation of more than 30 countries, and the praise they included for the Saudi model of quality education developed by the Authority.

Quality of education
Al-Sabti explained that the praise represents a great incentive and important support in the transformation journey towards improving in the Kingdom, in addition to the previous praises that the Commission is very proud of, including the praise issued by the Council on 11/11/2025 regarding the results included in the report issued by the World Bank on improving the quality of education in the Kingdom through evaluation, measurement, and national programs implemented by the Education and Training Evaluation Commission.
Continue: "And also the praise issued by the Council on 3/13/2024 AD on the occasion of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) choosing the Education and Training Evaluation Authority in the Kingdom as the first educational body in the world for the organization to document its experience and transmit it to its members and partners in more than (80) countries, and the praise on 7/2/2024 AD on the occasion of the Authority obtaining full membership in the Seoul Agreement, the first Arab accrediting body and in the Middle East."
Supporting wise leadership
He explained that the Saudi model for quality education has become a pioneering Arab and international model, as a result of the support of wise leadership – may God support it – and its interest in making education qualitative in which generations have every opportunity to obtain a high-quality education, which was confirmed by His Highness the Crown Prince – may God support him – on a previous national occasion.
He pointed out that the recommendations issued by the (Sixth) Conference of the Arab Network for Quality Assurance in Higher Education confirmed this leadership; It began by praising the Saudi model for controlling and ensuring the quality of education and training in the Kingdom, and included a call to benefit from the initiatives presented by the Authority; By holding a meeting to present the model to all Arab countries, and considering the (readiness) program; The Commission presented it as a pioneering Arab model to emulate.
He explained: This was accompanied by high praise and great interest from the participants in the conference, and from members of the Arab Network for Quality Assurance in Higher Education, which includes parties concerned with the quality of university education in 19 Arab countries. A number of Arab bodies expressed during the conference the desire to cooperate with the Commission; To benefit from the Saudi experience in controlling and ensuring the quality of education, which is one of the fruits of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.
The Saudi Model
Al-Sabti concluded by saying: "The excellence of the Saudi model for ensuring and controlling quality in education and training is a success story. It is a distinction that depends on a detailed diagnosis of the state of education and training at many levels, and is based on technology and data to measure performance in the education and training system in a comprehensive and integrated manner. To contribute to achieving various national goals, and for human capabilities to be globally competitive.
It is noteworthy that the Kingdom, represented by the Commission, hosted the (sixth) conference of the Arab Network for Quality Assurance in Higher Education in the city of Riyadh, and its title was "Towards high-impact quality assurance practices… stakeholder participation and student empowerment" During the period from 15 – 11/17/2025 AD, more than 1,000 specialists and experts from 30 countries and more than 110 Arab educational institutions participated in the conference, with the participation of international experts.
