Issued The Ministry of Health issued a firm administrative and technical decision to stop accepting all requests for leave and assignments submitted at a previous date through the “Mawarid” system, stressing that the system will automatically reject any request submitted retroactively to control procedures, while granting specific exceptions for cases required by compelling humanitarian or health conditions.

This regulatory measure comes to oblige employees to adhere to the correct regulatory paths, as the Ministry stressed the necessity of submitting requests. Before the actual due date to ensure the progress of work and not disrupt the interests, and to avoid immediate electronic rejection that will be implemented by the updated system.

Excepted cases

The decision took into account the humanitarian aspects and emergency circumstances that may prevent the employee from applying in advance, as the Ministry specified an exclusive list of excepted cases in which it is permitted to submit the application at an earlier date, in recognition of circumstances beyond control.

The list of exceptions includes The Ministry also grants dialysis leaves and periodic treatment sessions among the permissible exceptions, given the critical health nature of these cases that require continuity of treatment and administrative support that facilitates the employee’s life and does not add procedural burdens to him.

The Ministry explained that this strict digital transformation in the “Mawarid” system aims primarily to develop the administrative environment, improve the employee experience by reducing delayed manual transactions, and enhancing the efficiency of institutional work in accordance with the Ministry’s digital transformation plans.
