Sharjah Finance" Launches postpaid service in cooperation with… "Tabby"

Sharjah, November 26 / WAM / The Sharjah Central Finance Department launched the post-payment service for government fees and transactions in cooperation with the electronic payment company Tabby, in line with the directives of the Sharjah government to enable digital financial services and facilitate customers’ access to them.
This partnership aims to provide flexible and convenient payment options that enable customers to manage their financial obligations more efficiently and improve the user experience through a safe and reliable payment system.
This step was announced during the signing ceremony of the partnership agreement, which was organized by the department today at its headquarters, in the presence of His Excellency Walid Al Sayegh, Director General of the Sharjah Central Finance Department, Sheikh Rashid bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Director of the Department, Hossam Arab, CEO and founding partner of Tabby, and a number of department officials and representatives of Tabby. The mechanisms for activating the service and its expected role in establishing a more inclusive and competitive financial environment at the emirate level were reviewed.
Hoda Al Yasi, Director of the Financial System Department at the Sharjah Central Finance Department, confirmed that cooperation with Tabby represents an important step in the development of government financial services and reflects the department’s commitment to adopting digital solutions that enhance the quality of services and place the customer at the center of development operations.
She added that cooperation with Tabby provides a practical model for partnership between the public and private sectors in the field of financial technology and embodies Sharjah’s vision of building an integrated financial system based on innovation, governance and transparency and supports the emirate’s position as a leading center for smart government services.
